Welcome to Utter ("we," "our," or "us"). By using the Utter mobile application, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Utter, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Utter is a daily voice journal application that allows you to record, store, and review journal entries. The service includes voice recording, transcription (where applicable), cloud storage of your entries, and related features.

3. Account and Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Utter. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of all journal entries and content you create in Utter. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the service to you. We do not use your journal content for advertising or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Utter for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws. You agree not to attempt to interfere with the service, access other users' data, or misuse the application.

6. Subscription and Payments

Some features may require a paid subscription. Payment terms and billing are managed through the App Store or Google Play. Refunds are subject to the policies of the respective platform.

7. Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of Utter at any time. We will strive to provide notice of significant changes when possible.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Utter is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Utter.
